Here Are Some of the Ways You Can Bring Comfort to Cancer Patients
There are many ways you can join us in providing comfort to cancer patients. An estimated 1.6 million new cancer patients will be diagnosed this year according to the American Cancer Society. We want to reach out to as many of them as possible to let them know they are not alone. The task ahead of us is enormous. Only with an army of volunteers doing what they can will we be able to realize this vision.
If you or someone you know (relative, co-worker, neighbor, or friend of a friend etc.) is fighting cancer, you can request a comfort care package. We can send it directly to you for yourself or to hand deliver it, or we will send it on your behalf. There is no charge to you or the recipient. We are here to provide faith, hope & love to those fighting cancer. Click HERE to send a comfort package.
Volunteer to hand-tie fleece blankets for our comfort care packages. Sign up for an event to help raise funds! Find out more about upcoming events by clicking HERE.
You can make items that go into the comfort care packages. With the growing requests for comfort packages we are always in need for individuals, church/youth groups, civic organizations who can tie fleece blankets or knit chemo caps. Click HERE to volunteer to make these items.
Send us your stories through the mail or post your story on our Facebook page. Messages of encouragement go a long way when you are going through the treatment. We want to know how you are doing and what God is doing in your life journey. Share your story with us by clicking HERE.
