YANA-Cancer Comfort Blanket Making Events
YANA-Cancer Comfort provides care packages to cancer patients to let them know “You Are Not Alone”. Our care packages include a hand-tied fleece blanket, handmade cap, music CD and a personal note of encouragement. If you know how to tie a knot you are qualified to attend. People of all ages can enjoy participating in this event to touch the life of a cancer patient. Fleece material for the no-sew blankets will be provided. All you need to do is show up and tie knots to make a blanket out of two pieces of material.

OneOC’s Season of Giving – Days of Service Event
Join us to celebrate a new Season of Giving by volunteering to hand-tie blankets for cancer patients during the holiday season. We choose #GivingTuesday, November 28th, since it’s a global day of giving back. It’s celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
